Welcome Summer!

Hello!

Welcome to Room 202. I am excited to be starting my 5th year at St. Edward School. It promises to be a great year.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a middle level endorsement and a math minor from the University of Northern Iowa in December 2004. I spent this summer completing my Master's of Arts Degree - Math in the Middle Grades, also from the University of Northern Iowa. I am excited to share my new knowledge with my students.

I was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. We are now transplants to the Waterloo area, having lived here for the past 11 years. Chris and I are the proud parents of two lovely daughters, Jaime and Lily, and we are excited as we await a new addition to our family in the spring of 2010.

UPDATE 9/26/09: We had our ultrasound this weekend and found out we are expecting a boy! :)

Service Hours       20%
Tests, Quizzes, Projects      40%
Daily Work/Participation       20%

Unit D students are expected to complete 16 hours of service per semester. Forms are available from the teachers to record and reflect on their service. Service hours will be recorded, but will not be calculated into the final grade until the end of the semester.
